The Office Co worked closely with James Legal Solicitors to bring their new workplace to life. creating an energetic, people-led environment that reflects the firm’s personality, values, and forward-thinking approach to legal services.
A key part of the project was collaborating directly with the owner to understand their vision for the business and how they wanted the workplace to feel for both staff and clients. Through early conversations, it became clear that the space needed to support collaboration, encourage approachability, and express the James Legal brand in a confident yet contemporary way.
This collaborative approach continued through a series of showroom visits, where the owner played an active role in shaping the look and feel of the office. From selecting furniture to refining layouts and embedding brand colours into finishes and soft furnishings, their input helped create a space that feels authentic to James Legal and instantly recognisable as their own.
The resulting layout was carefully planned to support the way the team works day to day, with a dedicated collaboration area designed as a central hub for team connection, informal meetings, and idea sharing, balanced alongside focused workspaces that support concentration and privacy.
Design development focused on creating a bright, welcoming workplace that balances comfort, durability, and professional polish. Ergonomic furniture, considered layouts, and the well-positioned collaboration area support employee wellbeing and help foster a positive, connected team culture.
